Join KPBS for San Diego’s second annual Be My Neighbor Day on Saturday, April 6 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the KPBS station on the San Diego State University campus. Be My Neighbor Day is a free outdoor event for young children and families to celebrate caring for one another and the environment around us.
Be My Neighbor Day will include the following entertaining and educational activities:
All attendees will receive a KPBS KIDS giveaway, as well as resources on how to be a caring and environmentally-responsible neighbor!
The event will take place at the KPBS Station and SDSU campus, 5200 Campanile Dr., San Diego, 92182, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. We encourage early arrival to the event to ensure access to all activities. Please wear layered clothing and comfortable shoes, as the event is mostly outdoors. We encourage guests to bring a reusable water bottle with them. There will be a water station. You will not need a printed ticket. Please find driving, parking, and walking directions below.
Directions to KPBS Station and Complimentary Parking*:Take I-8, towards College Avenue. Exit towards College Avenue South. Continue on College Avenue, cross under two pedestrian bridges, and pass two traffic signals to Montezuma Rd. Take a right on Montezuma Rd. Turn right on 55th St. Turn right on Lindo Paseo and left into Parking Structure P6. Feel free to park on any level of P6. When exiting the parking structure, walk on Lindo Paseo towards Campanile Mall Dr. (away from 55th St.). KPBS will be on your left, follow signage to the entrance.
