Christian Jules Taylor

It’s safe to say San Diego based Singer-Songwriter, Christian Taylor, was born into music. His father at the age of 16, was an underground sensation in Los Angles, California, gaining critical acclaim for his debut album and would later find success in Europe as a well known blues guitarist and singer. Christian’s Grandfather (mother side) was Mel Taylor, drummer of the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame inducted surf band The Ventures. While his grandmother (fathers side)  could practically play anything on the guitar or Ukulele by the age of 5, and would go on to form the Mary Kaye Trio. They became the original pioneers of the Las Vegas lounge act. So you could say music is in Christian's DNA.

Christian is forging his own path in music, blending a love for Soul, Blues, Americana, and Rock N Roll into his own unique raw sound, relying mostly on his raspy, soulful voice to wow the crowds. Christian’s schedule consists of 16-25 gigs a month all over San Diego, regularly becoming a favorite at the bars, restaurants, and venues he’s performing at. Christian released his debut album “Daydream” in 2016, and recorded an in-studio EP “The Citizen Sessions” in late 2017. He is currently working on new material with the hopes of releasing a new single by late 2019.
